This role is a full-time position with a flexible commencement date.  Your responsibilities will include planning, coordinating and executing the technical and non-technical aspects of room setups and virtual events, supporting the Venue Manager with the daily operation of the venue and assisting clients and instructors with their requests during their events to ensure a remarkable experience is brought to life. This is a hands-on client facing role, giving you the opportunity to assist in delivering various aspects of corporate events. On a day-to-day basis, you’ll take ownership of all technical components of each event and assist with general day to day venue support.   There will be plenty of variety in your work! The role will encompass:Planning and coordinating event setups including both technical and non-technical equipmentSupporting clients with their technical requirements during events e.g. Internet setup, video / phone conferencing, AV requests etc.Using Norton Ghost to setup computer training roomsManaging and maintaining all IT hardware within the venueEnsuring the venue is kept in pristine condition and is maintained throughout the dayWelcoming clients on arrival, ensuring they have everything they need for their event and actioning any additional requestsTroubleshooting hardware, software and basic network issues for both clients and staff About you As the ideal candidate you will have well rounded technical and client service experience within a fast-paced environment such as corporate events, hospitality or retail.In addition, you will have:A working knowledge of basic networking – TCP/IP, DHCPProven experience working with all Windows operating systemsA solid understanding of audio-visual fundamentals and technologies - setting up microphones (PA systems), connecting data projectors etc.The ability to co-ordinate multi-premise video-conferencing solutions across both physical and virtual environmentsExperience with video editing and webcasting is a real plusExcellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise your workload and efficiently get through a large volume of tasksProven problem solving and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication skills and a customer service focusBe calm under pressure, and able to make intelligent and effective decisionsA strong attention to detailA can-do attitude with the ability to work unsupervisedBe physically fit and able to perform corporate event room setupsWhy join us? We are a progressive company that welcomes input from our team at all levels.Our 400 team members across Asia Pacific are the key ingredient in creating our inclusive workplace and remarkable experiences for our customers and each other.
